When I Lay Down My Belly

November - Port perch

Cold Wind, an up and down the temperatures, it is again November!

For me the time to more quickly make a few perch arrest. Especially in the ports are the striped still very active. However, reducing the feeding phases from day to day considerably. But before they go to their winter locations, where they reduce their activity to a minimum, the cichlids are still good to listen. The odds are now to get a capital fellow higher than a few months ago, where even the fish breeding Ufersaum populated. Knobby Crankbaits - getwicht close to the ground - are currently top. Because the cichlids can rarely resist.

Chilli Bloated Stomach

October

The sea bass season coming to an end and I can once again devote more of our local waters.
The first trip went this morning to the Rhine, despite all the gloomy news: the water level was too low and the fish would bite hard, especially perch, I picked up my St. Croix Avid and grabbed a couple of Lucky's in the Wobblerdose.

The water level of the Rhine, but let me come to brood-level Ruhrort / Duisburg: 209cm.
Good, superior tactics and lure select flap is then already.
tactics, as follows, looking groynes with deep holes and a gently rinsed running Suspender (Flashminnow) to the assembly line - and very solid Fingers crossed ;-).

The result was:

I can only say it was a great approximation of how it is predator-October is accustomed to her. So's not packed like the fishing gear and down to the stream.
